On 2nd October, we came together to remember two inspiring leaders of our nation: Lal Bahadur Shastri and Mahatma Gandhi. Their lives remind us that real change does not always begin with grand actions. It begins with truth, simplicity, discipline, courage, and a willingness to do what is right. At Asha Foundation, we believe that education and care for children are meaningful steps towards building a better society. The values of compassion, equality, responsibility, and service that both leaders stood for continue to inspire the work we do every day. On this Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti and Gandhi Jayanti, we remember their contributions with respect and renew our commitment to creating opportunities for children who need them the most.

On August 29, 2026, Asha Foundation brought parents and teachers together for a meaningful Parent-Teacher Meeting, creating a space where everyone could sit together, talk openly, and understand the children a little better.  The meeting was an opportunity to discuss each child’s learning, progress, strengths, and the challenges they may be facing, while also sharing ideas on how we can support them both inside and outside the classroom.  We believe that a child’s learning journey becomes stronger when parents and teachers work together, listen to each other, and stay involved. It was a warm and constructive interaction, and we are grateful to all the parents and teachers who took the time to participate and contribute. Together, we can help our children learn with confidence, grow at their own pace, and move forward with the support they need. Here are some glimpses from the meeting.

At Asha Foundation, we celebrated this 15th August with boundless enthusiasm and joyful hearts! Our beautiful, resilient children filled the day with patriotic songs, vibrant dances, and big dreams for the future. By empowering these underprivileged and marginalized stars through education, we are building a truly free and equal nation.
